This serial link module is part of the Modicon X80 range, a common platform of modules for Modicon M580 and M340 Programmable Automation Controllers (PAC). This module has 2 RS-485/232 ports in Modbus and character mode for harsh chemical environments. It is an RTU module with a current consumption of 80 mA at 24 VDC, work with internal power supply. This ruggedized product can be used in more severe environments, and operate in an extended temperature range, from -25 deg C to +70 deg C.
