Warranty Returns
With manufacturer approval, Building Controls & Solutions provides advanced warranty credits in good faith. If the manufacturer deems the product functional or outside of warranty coverage, a re-bill, including return shipping charges, will be applied to your account.
Non-Returnable Items
Certain items may not be eligible for return once the order is placed, including, but not limited to:
- Special order items, such as custom dampers or valve assemblies
- Items that have been installed or have damaged packaging
- Items that are out of warranty
- Original and return freight charges are non-refundable

Returning An Item
A Return Material Authorization (RMA) is required for all returns. Contact us for an RMA using one of the methods below:
- If purchased locally, contact your local branch directly
- If you purchased online and do not have a business account with BCS, email us at bcs.webalerts@building-controls.com for details regarding your return
Required Information
To process your return, ensure you have the following details ready:
- Your original purchase order (PO) number
- BCS order or invoice number
